How to see who has requested to view your property, and what actions you can take
For each viewing request you receive, you'll get an email with the details of the person making the request. You'll also see from your dashboard how many requests you have to respond to.
Clicking the Viewings tile on your dashboard launches the Viewings page of Tenant Finder, where you will see a Viewing Requests table.
You'll see all the viewing requests you haven't responded to in here, grouped by preferred date and time.
You'll also see how many other dates and times they selected as their availability.
Clicking on the tenant's name will display a pop-up containing more details about them and their household.
Under the actions column you can see the options available to you. If the tenant chose multiple timeslots for their availability, you will see a button called 'Show availability'. Otherwise, the button will be called 'Assign new time'.
If you don't want to book the tenant into their preferred timeslot, click this button to select an alternative. You'll need to make sure the tenant can view at the new time before booking them in.
The 'Decline' button is there if you want to decline the request altogether and not have this tenant come to view your property. Select a reason, which is shared with them when we email them, and confirm.
The 'Accept' button will confirm that you want to book the applicant into their preferred timeslot. The button won't be available if the preferred timeslot is in the past or you already have a booked viewing for that timeslot.
Once you have actioned every request for the same timeslot, the row will disappear from the table. Any booked viewings are now in your Viewing Schedule, below your Viewing Requests table.
